I’m Kat, a Senior UX Content Designer based in Raleigh, North Carolina who specializes in making complicated financial content accessible and easy to digest.

Currently, I’m at Experian, where I work on membership, financial products, and email marketing for both. I’m also the sole copywriter behind Experian Smart Money™, a digital checking account that helps people “build credit without the debt”. I wrote that line, and it even made its way into a Super Bowl commercial starring Travis Kelce, which still feels pretty unreal.

Before that, I wrote product copy for Wayfair brands like AllModern, Joss & Main, and Kelly Clarkson Home, and in fintech at Bread Financial, shaping everything from apps to checkout experiences to chatbot conversations.

Outside of work I enjoy lifting weights, long walks with my pitbull Goose, playing and singing music, and reading. I’m working on my first novel, and I’ve previously written poetry, plays, musicals, and an opera.
